Greetings! My name is Christiane (pronounced kris-tee-ah-nuh). I received my Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland, the first accredited graduate program for acupuncture in the United States. I primarily use the Five-Element style of acupuncture, a gentle, yet powerful system which supports overall health and well-being. I also use the Eight Principle model to assess and effectively treat conditions that may be causing discomfort on a physical, emotional/mental, or spiritual level. I am dedicated to being a compassionate, respectful, and effective practitioner. In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist, I am also a certified hypnotherapist trained in a system of hypnotherapy called "5-Path" that uses advanced techniques in a systematic approach that can bring about permanent changes in regards to the issue you are seeking help with. Hypnosis, like acupuncture, has been used for millennia, and is an effective, safe, and holistic way of resolving issues that prevent us from achieving our full potential. After our session, I went home, had something to eat, and then crashed for about 4 hours. I kept a quiet pace for the rest of the day… and then slept soundly all night. The next day I felt marvelous. It was like something needed to drain out of me (or process within me) while I slept, and the acupuncture made that all possible. Thank you!
